Engineering consulting in the design of a new production facility.

When planning a new production facility, the main focus is usually on the process equipment. But not enough attention is paid to the engineering infrastructure that supports the operation of this equipment. As a result, it turns out that the water is not clean enough, the steam is not dry enough, the room temperature is not high enough.... And so on and so forth... As a result, it is urgent to invest resources in the modernisation of engineering networks.

To avoid problems with the launch of production, we advise you to contact our specialists at the stage of developing the concept of a new production facility. After all, new production equipment is not difficult to buy. However, it may come as an unpleasant surprise that the cost of engineering support is similar to the cost of the equipment itself. In this case, the economics of the entire new production project will simply become unprofitable.

A factory for growing mushrooms. They contacted us at the design stage of the factory. The question was the selection of equipment for a steam boiler. Executed works: Design search and enlarged technical and economic calculation of the concept of boiler equipment for steam production and heat supply of a mushroom growing enterprise accepted by the Customer. Further, based on the prepared document, we developed a design of a steam and water boiler house for the Client.

Engineering consulting in the reconstruction of an operating enterprise.

The reconstruction or modernisation of an enterprise often doesn't differ much from new construction in terms of problems with the engineering infrastructure. Replacing outdated equipment with new, more efficient and more cost-effective equipment entails upgrading the engineering systems. It may turn out that the compressed air pressure for the new equipment needs to be higher, or the water needs to be of a higher degree of purification, or the steam temperature needs to be higher.....
As a result, it turns out that the modernisation of technological equipment is impossible without the reconstruction of the engineering infrastructure. Accordingly, the total cost of modernisation increases dramatically.

 Optimisation of the company's energy consumption.

The task of optimising energy consumption is typical for enterprises built in the last century. Such production facilities still exist, but, as a rule, they are already in a much reduced format. And the engineering infrastructure was built for large tasks and volumes. That's why we have a situation where, for example, a large boiler house is used to heat one workshop, which was designed to heat the entire enterprise.

To choose an economically feasible power supply scheme for an enterprise is a task that engineering consulting solves. The extensive practical experience and deep theoretical knowledge of our engineers is the key to the right solution to the customer's problem.

 

The milk plant. Steam for process and heating is produced by a gas boiler. An outdated DKVR boiler with obvious fuel overconsumption. As an alternative, we proposed to install a steam solid fuel boiler with quasi-boiling bed combustion technology. Technical and economic calculations showed that the payback period for the reconstruction would be no more than 2 years. In addition, the customer is killing two birds with one stone. Sunflower husk, which is a by-product of the plant's production, will be used as fuel.     

Inefficient or incorrect operation of the company's technological or energy equipment.

In cases where new engineering equipment does not fully satisfy the company's steam or heat needs, the problem is not always with the equipment itself. There may be several reasons. Each of them has its own small negative effect, and the result is a non-working system.

A detailed analysis of the entire system is required. Review of existing documentation for equipment and networks. Calculation of hydraulics and thermal engineering calculations. Based on the study of the existing system and the calculations, we issue a Technical Report to the Customer. The report contains our recommendations. In some cases, we recommend reconstruction with the replacement of individual components and assemblies, in some cases, it is enough to carry out adjustment work.

Greenhouse farm. The total area of greenhouses is 3 hectares. Solid fuel boiler house with a capacity of 4.9 MW. Operating experience has shown unsatisfactory operation of the greenhouse heating system. Subject of the Agreement: Development of a fundamental heat engineering and hydraulic scheme for greenhouse heat supplyThe customer was provided with a Technical Report with recommendations for remediation. 

Restoration of documentation for an existing energy or technological facility.

We often receive requests from our customers to restore project documentation for boiler houses, steam lines, and compressed air supply systems. It is not uncommon for a purchased company to be found with minimal or no technical documentation.

In this case, our specialists conduct a detailed audit of the facility. Based on the information collected, we prepare project documentation. In our design solutions, we take into account the existing condition of the facility and, without fail, take into account the current building codes for such facilities.
